Hakeem classically trained at the [http:/www.bristololdvic.org.uk Bristol Old Vic], a theatre school in the UK. After graduation, he accepted an invitation to join the Shakespeare Royal Company. Hakeem has played on various TV shows on BBC, as well as 24 and Law & Order: SVU. He has also played in many films.
Hakeem voiced Jorge-052in Halo: Reach and Sadie's father in the "Sadie's Story" segments of Halo 3: ODST. He also voiced Duval Mingo in The Saboteur (Game), where his name was spelled "Hakim Kae Kazim" in the credits.
