Amy Poehler is an American comedienne and actress. She is best known as one of the founders of the Upright Citizen's Brigade, a long-time cast member on Saturday Night Live, and the star of the TV series Parks and Recreation.
Amy Poehler is an improvisational comedienne who has performed in many popular live-action and animated features. She is best known for her long run on Saturday Night Live, where she co-anchored Weekend Update with Tina Fey, and her Emmy-nominated role of Leslie Knope on Parks and Recreation. Poehler has also done voice work in TV and movies, voicing a character in the animated Alvin and the Chipmunks films, and on Spongebob Squarepants. She co-created and voice in The Mighty B for Nickelodeon which ran from 2008 to 2011.
