The Tain

OBJECT

Created by the Smiths of Muirthemne, the Tain is a magical prison which was intended to seal away the evil Myrkridia. During the Great War it was discovered by Soulblighter, who used it against his enemies on more than one occasion.

Trivia

• The design of the Tain bears more than a passing resemblance to M. C. Escher's Double Planetoid, both visually and thematically. Like the Double Planetoid, the Tain is composed of two intersecting tetrahedrons, with one appearing man-made, and the other of a more organic origin.
