The Laytonmobile sports an unusually high ceiling that lets the professor take to the road without removing his top hat. Thanks to his careful maintenance, the car is always in tiptop shape.

Puzzle No. 19.

• The Laytonmobile is featured in Puzzle No. 19 in Professor Layton and the Curious Village (Game).
• In Professor Layton and the Curious Village the professor must leave his beloved car outside of St. Mystere while he and Luke search for the Golden Apple. Later, when Layton expresses his relief that the car was not stolen while left unattended Luke jokes that no one would want to steal such a car.
• In Professor Layton and the Unwound Future (Game), Luke and Layton travel to future London, where they discover the Laytonmobile in a state of decrepit disrepair. The professor tells Luke to remind him to give his car a tune-up when they return to their own time.
