This is a weapon that uses sound waves to kill or stun people.

==Description == In most games, sound cannons are destructive weapons. They can destroy things by using specific frequencies that make some materials unstable and break. That's the blunt force of a powerful sound wave that causes damage to people and structures when the sound cannon launches basts; these blasts of sound are often in a form of a ring like the one we can see from a real vortex cannon.

==Real World == Actually sound cannons are inoffensive. They don't cause any physical damage, but use hypersonic sounds in a focused beam that can often be painfully deafening for humans. They are mainly used as anti-riot weapons, and the fact that the noise is focused, it means that the operator doesn't need any protection against it.
