The Sentinel XS is a high-performance model of the Sentinel, making an appearance in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, Grand Theft Auto IV and Grand Theft Auto V.
The Sentinel XS is a performance model of the Sentinel, found in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, Grand Theft Auto IV (Game) and Grand Theft Auto V (Game). Across all three games it features minor aesthetic and performance tweaks, surpassing the original car. It can be compared to the Leone Sentinel (Object) of previous games for these reasons.

In Grand Theft Auto V the Sentinel XS appears almost identical to the standard Sentinel, with the only significant external difference being that the XS model appears exclusively with a hard-top. The badges on the two cars differ though this is not plainly obvious. In online play the XS model is significantly more common than the standard Sentinel, and can be purchased from the in-game website for $60,000.

Customization for the Sentinel XS is impressive, as it is for the Sentinel (Object). The XS model lacks the Secondary Color of the standard model, which would influence the color of the car's roof. On all XS models the roof is black, and this cannot be changed. Nevertheless it is possible to change the car's hood, its side skirts, its front and rear fenders, as well as the hood and spoiler. These changes are significantly more in-depth than for many of the other cars in-game, though conventional changes such as wheels and armor proofing are available, as on the majority of cars found in-game.
Should the player want a Sentinel XS as their personal vehicle online it is advised to steal one found on the street instead of buying it: as the retail price is below $100,000 the car can be fitted with a tracker and insured, meaning that the player will spend significantly less money than they would ordering one.
