Rubber Band
OBJECT
A loop of rubber with high tensile strength, designed for holding objects together.

Overview

In video games, rubber bands give their name to the practice of increasing AI competitor performance in order that they might retain a close degree of success to the player: rubber banding. The name derives from the elastic nature of the object. In Rockstar's Bully (Franchise), a ball of rubber bands can be used as a projectile weapon, while individual rubber bands serve as collectibles.
