The Mulcher is a big version of a mitrailleuse. When used in single- or multiplayer it can be mounted on cover, or directly on the ground for more accuracy. It can also be fired directly from the hip at the loss of accuracy. The Mulcher must be cooled down after use by holding down the reload button, and whilst carrying the Mulcher the player's movement speed is dramatically reduced. The Mulcher is one of the new weapons introduced in Gears of War 2 (Game), when used effectively it can have a devastating effect on enemies.
