Motion Sensor
A device that projects the location of nearby foes onto the HUD map of players, relative to the location of the motion sensor.
The Bad Company series of games feature a motion sensor that can be thrown into the battlefield like a grenade. Physics apply to the sensor, and will roll as if it was a ball. Motion sensors will get thrown around by explosive events. Battlefield 3 (Game) features two kinds of motion sensing devices, each equippable by the recon class.
