MP5K
A shortened version of the MP5A2, it was introduced in 1976.
The MP5K is a shortened variant of the classic MP5 weapon design, having been changed to give it a smaller profile for special operations and other purposes. Changes made internally to make the weapon more compact also resulted in a higher rate of fire, due to changes carried out to the bolt (it was made lighter). As would be expected, a semi-automatic model for civilian use also exists under the designation SP89.
