Jawbreakers (or Gobstoppers in the UK and Ireland) are a type of candy that consists of several layers that have different colours and sometimes, different flavours for each layer. It is a type of hard candy (hence the name) so it designed to be sucked or licked until it dissolves.  Jawbreakers come in a variety of sizes. As small as 2 centimetres to about 3 inches. Sometimes even bigger.
