A prototype of bullpup assault rifle that makes use of caseless ammunition. It was designed to increase target hit probability by firing high rate multi-round bursts.
Description
HK G11 4.75mm caseless round
The Heckler Und Koch G11 assault rifle features fire modes, it has single shot, three rounds burst and full auto modes, it's 45 round magarine and its 4.95 mm round allows to have the same fire power of an M16 with a smaller ammunition, the caseless ammunition gives also the benefit to remove the extraction cycle and increase the fire rate of the weapon. while its full auto mode is quite slow, the three round bursts is very fast.
HK LMG 11
The weapon exists in numerous variants and prototypes, the weapon was also made as a bullpup light machinegun called LMG 11 with a similar design but completely different system using of course the same ammunition.
