Geiger Counter

OBJECT

The Geiger Counter is a type of particle detector that measures ionizing radiation. The device emits audible clicks when it detects radiation in the air.

In Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, the Geiger Counter is used in the All Ghillied Up and One Shot One Kill mission where players take control of Captain Price (Character) as he's being lead by Captain MacMillian through Pripyat. If the player goes to far out of bounds, the Geiger Counter will start ticking, letting them know they are entering a radiation zone. The player will eventually die if they don't get out of the area.   The Geiger Counter is also used in many other games, including Fallout 3 (Game) where the device makes noise whenever the player encounters radiation.
