Fossil
The preserved remains from a once living organism.
Fossils appear in several games, and can have different uses within each. In the Animal Crossing (Franchise) series, for instance, fossils can be dug out of the ground. They can then be given as a donation to Blathers, the museum curator, or sold to Tom Nook for additional bells (the in-game currency). In the Pokémon games, the fossils of extinct creatures can be revived as living Pokémon.
