Energy drinks are soft drinks produced with more energy than a typical drink. Most companies use the stimulant of caffeine to provide energy to the user, but these companies may also use organics such as Taurine and Guarana.
They often come in a 250 ML can (Red Bull original size), or a 473 ML can (Full Throttle). Some popular energy drinks include: Red Bull, Monster, Rockstar, and Full Throttle.

Studies have shown significant amounts of improvement in mental and cognitive performances as well as overall alertness. Some negative effects include nausea and irregular heartbeats. Users may also suffer from a crash from the high levels of sugar and caffeine.
