A futuristic assault vehicle employed by the Earth Defence Force, who colonised Mars. It also appears in Saints Row 2 as a reference to the future game.
The RDF Scout is a vehicle present in Saints Row 2 (Game). The vehicle is identical to the EDF Scout vehicle found in Red Faction: Guerrilla. The vehicle is likely part of Saints Row 2 (Game) due to the fact that THQ (Company) is responsible for both games, and it was included as an easter egg. The EDF Scout actually appears in Saints Row 2 (Game) before it appeared in Red Faction: Guerrilla. Due to this fact, it would have been possible not to see the reference to the game if you had acquired the Scout before the release of Guerrilla. From information witnessed in Guerrilla, the EDF vehicles run on hydrogen. This concept does not seem to be followed in Saints Row 2, though it may have been omitted to make including the vehicle easier.
