The cube has Bowser, a 1-Up Mushroom, and a coin.
The Chance Cube is a new item that appears in Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Game). This item lets you take a chance, hence the name. The Chance Cube has 2 pictures of Bowser's face, 1-up Mushrooms, and some coins. Sometimes, there can be Star Bits (Concept) in the cube. All Mario (Character), Luigi (Character), or Yoshi (Character) has to do is give this item a Star Spin. Once you've done that, it's time to take a chance! Whatever picture you get from the cube face-up is the item that he'll receive! But stay away from Bowser (Character) because you could face an enemy if that picture comes up. Chance Cubes can also be used in Starship Mario so Mario can earn more mushrooms.
