==Dead Space & Dead Space 2 == Primary Fire After a brief charge period, fires a huge beam of energy at a target. The Contact Beam is one of the most powerful weapons (per shot) in Dead Space. Alternate Fire Isaac slams the weapon into the ground and fires, releasing a shockwave that knocks nearby enemies back. In Dead Space 2, there is a "special upgrade" available for the Contact Beam that adds a stasis effect to the alternate fire.
