Westcliff is a shoddy mercenary camp near the coast on Albion. The camp is built around the Crucible, a giant 8-tiered combat arena built into the side of a mountain. Fighters enter the Crucible, and must fight off waves of enemies in each of the eight tiers, in a vicious spectator bloodsport. Crucible fighters who complete the contest are given a reward, and allowed to enlist in Lucien's army, which he is using to rebuild the Spire.
