Twin Ring Motegi
Twin Ring Motegi is a track located at Motegi, Japan. Its name comes from the fact that there are two race tracks at the facility, an oval and a road course.

Twin Ring Motegi is a dual-circuit facility built by Honda in 1997 as part of their entry into open-wheel racing. The oval and road course are completely separate tracks, in contrast to the "roval" type tracks that are seen in the USA. The oval track was on the CART schedule and later moved to the IRL (now called IndyCar) schedule, concurrent with Honda's move from CART to IRL as an engine manufacturer. In 2011, the oval sustained damage from the Tōhoku earthquake, and the IndyCar race was held on the road course instead. This was the last race for the venue, though unrelated to the earthquake, as IndyCar had already announced their plans not to race at Twin Ring past 2011.
