A fighting stage in Skullgirls. The Grand Cathedral sits atop the Skullgirl's lair, and is the portal through which Double communicates with the Trinity goddesses.

There are 2 versions of the Grand Cathedral in Skullgirls. A daytime one, with people sitting in pews, praying and looking at the statue of the Trinity goddesses, Mother, Aeon, and Venus. The second is a nighttime setting with no civilians present. It is likely the closest thing Doublehas to a home.
After aiding Double and the Skullgirl destroy Lab 8, Valentine retreats to the Grand Cathedral and is frequently one of final people the other characters must face before fighting the Skullgirl herself. The Grand Cathedral has a large area of tombs beneath it which the current Skullgirl, Bloody Marie (Character) has made her home.
