Riku arrives in the world and notices the past version of Pete. Riku soon investigates what he is up to and sees the Beagle Boys practicing on cutouts of Mickey, Donald, and Goofy. Riku is amused and think that the Trio can handle them. Following Pete’s henchmen he finds a bouncing chest in which he finds Minnie who informs him of what is going on. Seeing the Beagle Boys who know they’ve lost their captive, he chases them but is hintered by a dream eater.
