Overview
The Sacred Realm is a realm separate from Hyrule (Location) in the Zelda series, and is where the Triforce (Object) is safeguarded from evil. Despite this, in The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Ganon (Character) finds his way into the Sacred Realm and takes the Triforce for himself, corrupting the land into the Dark World. Upon Ganon's defeat, Link (Character) uses the power of the Triforce to restore the Sacred Realm to its proper state.
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds introduces the land of Lorule (Location), which bears a largely identical appearance to the Dark World from A Link to the Past. The two lands are separate, however, and just as Lorule is a parallel world to Hyrule, it also has its own Sacred Realm.
