Karachi

LOCATION

A city in Pakistan and multiplayer map in both Modern Warfare 2 & Counter-Strike. It's probably most known for the many multi-level buildings within it.

History of the Map

 "de_karachi" was originally designed as a third-party, Counter-Strike bomb and defuse map by Geoffrey Smith (aka CompoSITe). Geoffrey went on to work for Infinity Ward (Company) in the Design and Scripting department and remade the map for use in Modern Warfare 2. The map contains the same basic layout and the same general idea of multi-leveled buildings and rooftops as the original. 

Inaccuracies in Modern Warfare 2

 The map of Karachi has Arabic writing in it when it should be written in Urdu.
