The town has few residents; the only available merchant to trade with is Wilhelm, the innkeeper of Vilemyr Inn. Nevertheless, Ivarstead is an important rest stop for pilgrims making the journey to High Hrothgar (Location), as it sits at the base of the path leading up the Throat of the World (Location).
