Isla Nublar is one of several islands where InGen set up their operations for the Jurassic Park project. Nublar would serve as a tourist attraction where the dinosaurs would be put on display for the visitors. Since the catastrophe in the park occurred on that island, the events leading to Jurassic Park closing would be called the "Isla Nublar Incident".
