LOCATION

The legendary lost city in the Rub'al Khali desert, the area around the Arabian Peninsula. It's also known as "Atlantis of the Sands", a term coined by T. E. Lawrence.

Iram of the Pillars (Arabic: إرَم ذات العماد, Iram ḏāt al-`imād), also called Aram, Iram, Irum, Irem, Erum, or the City of the tent poles, is a lost city (or perhaps tribe) mentioned in the Qur'an. It is believed to have been located around the Rub' al-Khali desert.
