The Gulf Commonwealth was one of the thirteen commonwealths of the United States before the Great War. It was comprised of the former states of Louisiana (Location), Mississippi (Location), Alabama (Location), and Florida (Location).
Florida
A G.E.C.K. in one of Vault-Tec's vaults in Florida, for unknown reasons, became irradiated. When the G.E.C.K. was activated, its "Garden of Eden" became full of mutated plants and fungi. The mutant garden spread rapidly, destroying plan and animal life, including humans. The most prominent wildlife in the area are mutant crocodiles.
