Groznyj Grad

LOCATION

Groznyi Grad is from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. The name means "formidable fortress" in Russian. Built as an impregnable fortress, it was run by Colonel Volgin. The Shagohod was built there.

The main location Naked Snake is trying to reach throughout the entire game of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. You are sent to rescue Sokolov and to destroy the Shagohod's. Here you encounter a massive battle against Colonel Volgin which has 3 different segments. A hand-to-hand combat fight, a vehicle scene(escaping the building as it's blowing up and Volgin chasing you in the Shagohod), and a scene where you have to destroy the Shagohod.
