Located in downtown Indianapolis on 125 South Pennsylvania Street Conseco Fieldhouse first broke ground on July 22, 1999. It was designed to be retro and look like some of the original basketball venues. It has been described by the Ultimate Sports Road Trip as "A sparkling venue in a sparkling city." In 2005, 2006 and 2007 Conseco Fieldhouse was voted number one place to watch an NBA basketball game by Sports Business Journal. In 2006 the Ultimate Sports Road Trip reaffirmed Conseco Fieldhouse as the number venue in all four of the major sports. Conseco is the permanent home to the NCAA Men's and Women's Big Ten Tournaments.
