LOCATION

Ascension City is the main setting in Capcom's 2009 release, Bionic Commando. The entirety of the city divided into different sections through which Nathan Spencer travels through in the game.

General Information

The main setting of Bionic Commando, Ascension City was a proud symbol for the Federal States of America (FSA). Previously associated with crime and strife, the city was later reformed and fitted with technological advances. The growth of the city embodied the spirit of the FSA as well as an ample display of its power and dominion. Throughout, one can spot numerous highways, skyscrapers and rails for rapid transit. During the events of Bionic Commando, the city was decimated by an explosion set off by the terrorist organization, BioReign.
