Arcanus is the world where most wizards begin their conquest in Master of Magic. The only wizards that do not are Sss'ra or custom wizards with the Myrran special ability.  They start in the world of Myrror (Location).  Arcanus is a mundane, Earth-like world, even though it's home to elves and orcs.
