Overview

World Series of Poker: Full House Pro, also known as WSOP: Full House Pro, was a free-to-play poker video game developed by Pipeworks and released digitally by Microsoft Studios for the Xbox 360 (Platform) (as an Xbox Live Arcade title) on September 4, 2013, and for the PC (Platform) (via Windows Store (Concept)) on April 9, 2014. The online servers for the game were later discontinued on March 4, 2015, making this game unplayable.

A sequel (of sorts) to the 2011 Texas hold'em poker adaptation Full House Poker (Game), Full House Pro switches from a premium game to one with a free-to-play business model, while including most of the original game's modes and features (including the standard "Ring Game", the multi-table Tournament mode, and the single-player Pro Takedown mode) and cross-platform multiplayer between both Xbox 360 and PC versions. It is also a licensed tie-in from the World Series of Poker series of poker tournaments, featuring real-world casino locales (Caesar's Palace and Harrah's New Orleans) and commentary from ESPN announcers Lon McEachern and Norman Chad.

As a free-to-play game, players automatically received a free stack of chips each day they logged in, and must pay with real money for any further amount of chips. Chips and gold, both earned in-game and purchased, were used to buy bonus items, including XP boosters, Avatar costumes, table customization, chip tricks, and chip stacking layouts.

An open beta was released for Canadian Xbox 360 players on July 29, 2013.
