GAME » on September 29, 1992
A Flight Simulation game on the SNES and the sequel to the Amiga game Wings. It was developed and released by Malibu Interactive and Namco in 1992.

Overview

Wings 2: Aces High is a flight sim developed by Malibu Interactive (Company) and published by Namco (Company) for the SNES platform. It is known alternatively as Sky Mission in Japan and Blazing Skies in Europe. The player flies a British biplane during various air-to-air conflicts of World War I, while also bombing targets valuable to the German forces of Kaiser Wilhelm II. At one point the player encounters famed German pilot the Red Baron in a dogfight. The game is a sequel to Wings (Game), though this is sometimes thought to be in name only as there are several key gameplay differences between the two games (as well as having separate developers).
