Utopia is arguably the first strategy game to come out on a console machine, as well as perhaps the first example of a real-time strategy game. It pits two players as leaders of rival islands attempting to feed, house and maintain their population in a much more efficient manner then the other player. Players have to watch weather patterns to know where to plant crops, build buildings, and where to harbor ships - as hurricanes and tropical storms could wipe them out.
