Simple 2000 Series Vol. 10: The Table Game Sekai-hen, also known as Simple 2000 Series Vol. 10: The Table Game Sekai-hen - Chess, Backgammon, Diamond, Gunjinshogi etc, is a virtual board and card game collection developed by Yuki Enterprise and published by D3 Publisher for the PlayStation 2 in Japan on September 12, 2002. It later received a European release by Midas Interactive Entertainment on June 25, 2004 as Ultimate Mind Games. A sequel to the original The Table Game (Game), and part of the Simple (Franchise) series of budget games, Ultimate Mind Games features a new assortment of 15 board and card games, including traditional worldwide games (such as chess, checkers, and backgammon) and variations of both go and shogi. Like the original The Table Game, this game features a single-player Story Mode involving an alternate fantasy world. Set after the events of The Table Game (Game), the story involves the game-loving country of Brun being taken over by the land of Jejune, with games being outlawed. As part of the Resistance (Concept), players move around the country and win board games to recover land. The European version later received a digital PlayStation Network (Concept) release (as a PS2 Classics (Concept) title) on February 29, 2012.
