Overview

Kollon is a tile-matching puzzle game developed by MagicPot and released by CyberFront for arcades (using PS1-based Taito G-NET hardware) exclusively in Japan in 2003. It later received a handheld PlayStation Portable (Platform) release in Japan on December 16, 2004, in North America on December 13, 2005 (by Conspiracy Entertainment as Ultimate Block Party), and in Europe on February 24, 2006 (by 505 Games (Company) as Koloomn). Featuring a cutesy pop art style and gameplay similar to Tetris Attack (Game), Kollon tasks players with maneuvering a 2×2 cursor around the 6×13 playfield, rotating groups of blocks to form matches of four-or-more blocks of the same color. The overseas PSP versions added Wi-fi multiplayer. It later received two Japan-only sequels, with the PSP receiving Korokoro!! Kollon and the Nintendo DS (Platform) receiving Taisen!! Kato-chan no Kororon-pe.
