Overview

Ucchan Nanchan no Honō no Challenger: Denryuu Iraira Bou (or "Ucchan Nanchan's Blazing Challenger: Electric Irritating Rod") is a 2D maze game developed by Yuke's and published by Hudson Soft for the Nintendo 64 (Platform) exclusively in Japan on December 19, 1997. Similar to The Irritating Maze (Game) (and its PS1 sequel), Denryuu Iraira Bou is based on a segment of the late-1990's Japanese variety show Ucchan Nanchan no Honō no Challenger: Kore ga Dekitara 100 Man-en!!, where players have to guide an electrode rod through a course as fast as they can while avoiding the metallic frame (similar to the traditional wire loop game) and other moving obstacles. It includes all five original iterations of the TV show's course, along with a sixth unique "Practice" course. Along with single-player, it includes split-screen multiplayer.
