A standalone sequel to the Trivia Murder Party minigame in previous Jackbox Games

Trivia Murder Party 3 is a standalone game in the Trivia Murder Party series, following up the first one in The Jackbox Party Pack 3 (Game), and the second in Jackbox Party Pack 6. Up to eight players compete against each other to survive a mysterious serial killer and escape with their life by answering a series of trivia questions, and the losers have to play a minigame to avoid being murdered and turned into a ghost. When only one player is left alive, they must complete a rapid-fire series of trivia questions, but the other players who have been turned into ghosts have a chance to overtake the live player and escape themselves by providing more correct answers at the end.

Trivia Murder Party 3 was originally announced in April 2025 for release in Fall 2025, but it was later delayed to the following year, with a brief demo of the game previewed on June 15-22 2026 in Steam Next Fest. The game was released in Early Access state on Steam and Epic Games Stores on September 17, 2026. A full release is scheduled in 2027 on consoles.
