Train Simulator Real: The Yamanote-sen - JR Higashi-Nihon Yamanote-sen Sotomawari (Ōsaki → Ōsaki) 205-kei, loosely translated to "Train Simualtor Real: The Yamanote Line - JR East Yamanote Line, Outer Loop, Ōsaki to Ōsaki, 205 Series" is a train driving simulation game developed by Ongakukan and published by Sony for the PlayStation 2 (Platform) in Japan on October 4, 2001. The 21st installment of the Train Simulator series, and the first for the PS2, The Yamanote-sen revisits the Yamanote Line in Tokyo, this time following the whole loop clockwise (rather than counter-clockwise from the series' 14th installment) with a 205 Series electric train. Taking advantage of the console's DVD format and video playback capabilities, the game features higher-definition full-motion video than those in both the original and Train Simulator Plus series, with a higher frame-rate and a cab window that takes up most of the screen, to give a better illusion that the player is driving the train. It also features a revamped user interface with an updated 3D cab and a heads-up display over the window.
