Tōshinden is a 3D weapon-based arena fighting game developed by Dream Factory and published by Takara Tomy (Company) exclusively in Japan for the Wii (Platform) on December 10, 2009.
A short-lived reboot of the series of the same name and developed without involvement from series creator Tamsoft, Tōshinden features a completely original cast of characters and a new fighting system focusing on free-roaming movement (similar to studio's earlier game Ehrgeiz: God Bless the Ring), and simplified combo-based movelists (with a Combo Make mode for custom combos).
It is the studio's final traditional video game before pivoting to their LiveAnimation software (and some mobile games).
