Overview
Torchlight III is an action/adventure role-playing game developed by Echtra Games (Company) and published by Perfect World Entertainment (Company). The game was released for PC on Steam (Concept) Early Access on June 13, 2020 and is planned to release on Xbox One (Platform) and PlayStation 4 (Platform).
Announcement
Originally announced as a free-to-play, shared world sort of MMO called Torchlight Frontiers, the game was refocused and renamed as a more traditional action-RPG called Torchlight III. The game will also no longer be free-to-play. The change was announced on January 27, 2020.
