Overview
The Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve (Dai Gyakuten Saiban 2: Naruhodo Ryunosuke no Kakugo) is the direct sequel to The Great Ace Attorney and is a spin-off of the larger Ace Attorney (Franchise) franchise. Directed by series creator Shu Takumi (Person), the title was first revealed during Ace Attorney's 15th anniversary stage show at Tokyo Game Show 2016 (Concept). The story takes place nine months after the events of the first Great Ace Attorney and wraps up the lingering mysteries form the first entry. Initially released in Japan on August 3, 2017 for the Nintendo 3DS (Platform), The Great Ace Attorney 2 was later ported to mobile devices in 2018 and eventually localized as part of a collection called the The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles (Game) in 2021.
