Overview

Tetsudou Nippon! Rosen Tabi: Akechi Tetsudou-hen, which loosely translates to "Railway Japan! Route Trip: Akechi Railway Edition", is a train driving simulation game developed and published by Sonic Powered for the Nintendo Switch exclusively in Japan on August 25, 2022. The 10th installment in the Tetsudou Nippon! Rosen Tabi series (and the sequel to Sangi Tetsudou-hen), Akechi Tetsudou-hen follows Akechi Railway's Akechi Line in the Japanese Gifu Prefecture (between Ena Station and Akechi Station, both in the city of Ena) on a Akechi 100-series diesel train. Some changes to the system includes an updated full-run system (with a mechanic that allows players to "point" and acknowledge the physical timetable) and a specialized "speed brake". It is also the first game in the series to support the Densha de Go!! Dedicated One-Handle Controller peripheral.
