TeleGames is a digital board game collection developed and released by Scott Lamb for Amiga (Platform) computers in 1987. It later received an updated retail release by Merit Software (Company) in Europe in 1990 as Classic Board Games, which also received a Commodore CDTV (Platform) release in 1991. Including the games of chess, checkers, and backgammon, TeleGames was known for its "TeleConnect" functionality, allowing players to challenge each-other over dial-up networking (one of the earliest digital board games to support it). Its later "Classic Board Games" release minimized this feature, with the CDTV version removing it entirely (in favor of spoken instructions on how to play each game).
