Overview
Swing Away Golf, known in Japan as Golf Paradise, is a golf game developed and published by Tandamp;amp;amp;E Soft for the PlayStation 2 (Platform) in Japan on March 23, 2000, with an overseas release by Electronic Arts (Company) in North America on October 25, 2000 (as a launch title) and in Europe on December 1, 2000.
A spiritual successor to the studio's earlier golf games and an early PS2 release, Swing Away Golf features a colorful cast of 3D golfers and voiced caddies, a dedicated Story Mode (with several unlockable modes, golfers, and courses), and an in-game course editor.
The game later received a licensed Disney (Franchise)-based successor with the 2002 game Disney Golf (Game), as well as a Nintendo DS (Platform) successor in 2005 with True Swing Golf (Game).
