Super Password
Based on the 1980's game show of the same name, where teams try to solve a "super password" by having one player providing hints of one-word "passwords" to their teammate.
Overview
Super Password is a trivia game developed and published by by Gametek for the Apple II, Commodore 64, and DOS PCs in North America in 1988.
An adaptation of the NBC game show of the same name, Super Password has two teams of two trying to guess five one-word "passwords", which are clues to solving the overarching "super password". One player on each team is given each password, and must provide their own one-word clue in the hope that the other player guesses the correct password first and have a chance at solving the super password to win the round.
While it is the sole adaptation of the original Super Password, the original game show's successor, Million Dollar Password, received its own adaptation in 2008-2009.
