Super Motherload
Action puzzle game where the player controls a mining machine on a procedurally-generated Mars.
Overview
Super Motherload is a 1 to 4 player retro future action puzzle adventure developed by XGen Studios. Set in an alternate reality, where Cold War era powers have set their eyes on Mars as a way to feed their constant need for more resources, the player controls an independent contractor hired to do the actual Martian mining. The game features both a fully voiced campaign mode by comics writer Kurtis Wiebe, and 150 level puzzle mode.
Release
The game was first released in November 2013 as a PlayStation 4 (Platform) launch title, with a PlayStation 3 version following early December. Windows and Mac (Platform) versions of the game are also in development, and they were successfully Greenlit for Steam release on 29 June 2013.
