The game had a sequel in the form of Super Goal! 2 (Japan: Takeda Nobuhiro no Super Cup Soccer) released in the US in 1994, which in turn had a sequel in the Japan-exclusive Takeda Nobuhiro no Super League Soccer (Game) also in 1994.
