Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - The Fallen is a sci-fi third-person shooter developed by Collective Studios and published by Simon andamp;amp;amp; Schuster Interactive for the PC (Platform) on November 2000, with a Mac (Platform) release sometime after.
Based on the sci-fi series Star Trek (Franchise), more specifically the 1993-1999 television series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, The Fallen puts players as one of three Federation officers of the space station Deep Space 9 (Location) (human Captain Benjamin Sisko (Character), Bajoran Major Kira Nerys (Character), or Klingon (Concept) Lt. Commander Worf (Character)) during the Dominion War as they seek out three red Orbs of mysterious power (which are also being hunted by different opposing factions).
The game utilizes the Unreal engine, and is known both for its multi-character system (with each officer having their own experiences in an over-arching story) and voice acting by most of the original series's cast.
